Home is where the NES is
For my module 2 at Escape Studios, our brief was to create a diorama using a multitude of different modelling skills, including high, mid, and low poly models. This was the first time that I had used Zbrush properly and baked high to low assets. It was a challenge for me but I was really excited to try out new things.
This project really tested my modelling and texturing skills, as well as my lighting in Unreal as I wanted to produce as realistic a scene as I could. Post processing really helped with my scene as without it I was getting a very dark scene that was hiding a lot of my assets.
I used Sub-D modelling in Maya for the majority of my assets and really clicked with this, it makes sense in my brain as to where I need to put edge loops to create the shapes I want. I was really happy with how the guitar turned out using this method.
As always, I am open to feedback and criticism as I only want to further my skills.
